As a senior at DSHA, I am so thrilled to be able to bring the school newspaper back and create a foundation for Dashers to come! I brought back The Word to allow girls at DSHA to pursue and improve their writing, social, and editing skills. I hope The Word creates a place for students interested in writing, journalism, creative writing, photography, art, and editing to thrive, as well as a place for students to speak their minds. I am a long-time history enthusiast and animal lover. I spend most of my free time reading, playing the banjo and piano, and taking bike rides down the old train path near my house. Enjoy The Word!
